How is discovery different from uploading a receipt?
An upload starts with a document you have already found. Terrapin discovers receipts and invoices across the sources you connect, extracts the details and brings them together for review.
Where can Terrapin find receipts and invoices?
Connected email accounts, supported photo sources and Google Drive are discovery sources. A bank or card connection adds transaction context for matching. See the integrations directory for source-specific requirements.
Do I need accounting or expense software?
No. You can organize and review records in Terrapin, export to a spreadsheet or share with your accountant. Terrapin also integrates directly with QuickBooks Online and Xero if you use them.
Do I have to change cards?
No. Terrapin is card agnostic, so you do not need to adopt a Terrapin card or a particular card provider. Availability of transaction feeds depends on your country, institution and account.
What is included when I start free?
Connect your sources to start discovering and reviewing receipts and invoices. Paid plans extend the lookback and provide exports and accounting connections.
Who controls access to my sources?
You choose the sources you connect and approve their permissions. Review source access, sharing and the permissions associated with any accounting destination. The trust page explains these separately.
